Steamtown National Historic Site is part of the U.S. National Park Service.  It includes museums, a theater, a working roundhouse and in season there are train rides.

Within the park there is a museum of railroad history as well as a museum of railroad technology.  The theater shows a great short movie that gives insight as to what a career in railroads would have been like in the golden age of steam.

The park is also a great place to walk around and take in the sights, old locomotives are located throughout the park as well as a working turntable.
